Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), in plain English
Section 29 requires that goods and services be marketed in a manner that is neither misleading nor fraudulent. NCC fines run up to R1 million or 10% of annual turnover, whichever is greater, per CPA section 112.
